I've always thought of frisky koi in ruby red waters. What was I thinking?
Koi swimming in a pond under a scarlet sunset?
In molten lava?
In red wine?
It definitely is a departure from my tangerine and turquoise colorway. And why not? The result is something new, energetic and fresh.
Koi-Motion is as playful and kinetic as its title. It's an dramatic piece that inspires any onlooker. I love it!
I love it too when ideas in my headspace flow into my art. It's a daily pleasure to let loose in this haven I call the canvas.
